Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in ADA and WCAG accessibility compliance for web applications. The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with expert-level knowledge of Angular and TypeScript, and a passion for building inclusive digital experiences. In this role, you will lead accessibility-first development initiatives, mentor team members, and help set strategic direction for accessible frontend architecture.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design , develop and enhance Angular-based frontend applications with a strong focus on accessibility (ADA/WCAG 2.1+) standards. Drive accessibility implementation in collaboration with product, UX, and QA teams. Conduct and oversee accessibility audits using tools like axe-core, WAVE, NVDA, JAWS, etc., ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 (Level A, AA, AAA) standards Implement semantic HTML, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, color contrast ratios, and screen reader compatibility. Build and maintain reusable, accessible components aligned with modern frontend best practices. Work closely with QA to create accessibility test plans and validate implementations. Perform thorough code reviews with an accessibility-first mindset. Mentor and guide other developers on accessibility techniques and standards. Advocate for accessibility in architectural decisions and cross-functional planning. Integrate automated accessibility testing tools into the development lifecycle. Contribute to internal accessibility documentation, guidelines, and process improvements. Keep up to date with evolving accessibility standards and front-end frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications: 4 to 6 years of front-end development experience, with significant experience in Angular and TypeScript. Proven expertise in implementing accessible, ADA-compliant web interfaces. Strong understanding of semantic HTML, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and focus management. Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools such as axe-core, WAVE, NVDA, and JAWS. Ability to identify, document, and remediate accessibility issues. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive attitude. Experience working with or contributing to design systems with built-in accessibility Experience leading accessibility initiatives or participating in accessibility-focused groups. CPACC or other accessibility-related certification is a plus.
