Job Description

Magento Certified Front End Developer, We are seeking a skilled Magento Developer. Join our team to build and customize high-performance eCommerce websites using Magento.

As a Magento Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining e-commerce websites using the Magento platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of online stores and enhance the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, customize, and maintain Magento-based e-commerce websites, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Create and customize Magento themes and templates to match the brands aesthetic and user experience requirements.

Build and integrate custom Magento extensions and modules to extend the platforms functionality.

Manage and optimize Magento databases to ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.

Identify and address performance bottlenecks, code inefficiencies, and other issues to improve website speed and user experience.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors on the Magento platform.

Integrate third-party systems, payment gateways, shipping providers, and other APIs with Magento.

Keep the Magento platform and extensions up to date by applying patches and performing version upgrades.

Implement security best practices to safeguard customer data and protect against potential threats.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, configurations, and customizations.

Work closely with front-end developers, designers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as a Magento Developer, with a strong portfolio of e-commerce projects.

In-depth knowledge of the Magento platform, including its architecture, customization, and extension development.

Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.

Experience with version control systems (e. g. , Git) and development best practices.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and caching mechanisms.

Understanding of SEO best practices in the context of e-commerce websites.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

Magento certification(s) such as Magento Certified Developer.

Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms and technologies.

Experience with responsive web design and mobile optimization.

Knowledge of DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.

Understanding of UX/UI principles for e-commerce.
