Front-End Developer

As a Front-End Developer at LSEG, you will be joining the Engineering Team within Engineering Excellence & Productivity (EXP) in Corporate Technology (CT). Your primary role will involve building and enhancing the internal developer portal to provide exceptional user experiences for the development community. Leveraging your expertise in ReactJS and TypeScript, you will contribute to the creation of intuitive and engaging interfaces. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain user-facing features using ReactJS and TypeScript. - Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and visually appealing interfaces. - Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide constructive feedback. - Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency. - Write unit tests and debug applications to ensure reliability and performance. - Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends. - Create and maintain user documentation. **Qualifications Required:** - Professional experience in front-end development. - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ReactJS, and TypeScript. - Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web standards. - Experience integrating front-end collaborate with backend services via RESTful APIs. - Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams.
