Front Desk Officer

Job Brief: We are looking for a warm and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our restaurant team. The candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting, seating, and managing reservations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive, providing an exceptional first impression.
• Manage the reservation system, take calls, and ensure proper seating arrangements.
• Assign tables based on guest preferences, server availability, and overall flow of the restaurant.
• Maintain a waiting list during busy periods and inform guests of estimated wait times.
• Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
• Provide menus, inform guests of daily specials, and answer questions about the menu.
• Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth communication regarding seating and guest preferences.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist with special events and large parties, coordinating arrangements as needed.
• Support other team members during busy times by assisting with the requirements.

Skills Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in using reservation systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to remain calm and composed during busy or stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
