About The Opportunity
A clinical role within the healthcare sector focused on tertiary cardiac care and interventional cardiology. The position serves patients in Kotputli, Rajasthan, delivering catheter-based diagnostics and interventions, emergency STEMI management, and peri-procedural inpatient cardiology care at an on-site cath lab facility.Role & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic coronary angiography and independently execute percutaneous coronary interventions (elective and primary PCI) with adherence to cath-lab protocols.
- Provide comprehensive pre?procedural assessment and post?procedural care, including complication management and haemodynamic stabilization.
- Respond to emergency STEMI and acute coronary syndrome calls as part of a 24/7 on?site rota, ensuring timely reperfusion and evidence?based care.
- Interpret ECGs, echocardiography reports, cardiac biomarkers, and hemodynamic data to guide procedural and medical decisions.
- Maintain accurate procedural documentation, consent records, and cath?lab quality metrics; follow radiation safety and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with cardiac surgery, anesthesia, nursing, and critical care teams; participate in departmental audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS with MD/DNB in Cardiology or equivalent postgraduate qualification and completion of recognized interventional fellowship or training.
- Registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC) / state medical council and eligible to practice in India.
- Hands-on training in coronary angiography and PCI during fellowship; ability to perform procedures under supervision (fresher consultant level).
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Proficiency in radial artery access and management of access-site complications.
- Strong knowledge of cath-lab safety, radiation protection, and sterile technique.
Preferred
- Experience or exposure to intravascular imaging (IVUS/OCT) and physiology-guided PCI (FFR/iFR).
- Prior work in a high-volume tertiary cath-lab or participation in primary PCI programs.
- Academic inclination: publications, presentations, or involvement in clinical audits and teaching.
