Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fresher Cook at HOTEL MOTI PVT LTD located in Brahmapur. The responsibilities of the Fresher Cook include assisting in daily food preparations, preparing ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring, cooking basic dishes under supervision, ensuring hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen, following the recipes and guidelines set by senior chefs, and helping with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. The Fresher Cook will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe workstation, adhere to food safety standards, and collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Basic knife skills and ability to perform ingredient preparation
  • Understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work efficiently under supervision and in a team
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Dedication and willingness to learn and develop cooking skills
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
