Reports To: Head of Languages / Academic Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate French Language Teacher to join our diverse faculty at [Insert School Name], an internationally focused institution committed to academic excellence and intercultural understanding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality French language instruction and fostering a love for the French language and Francophone cultures among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons in alignment with the school’s curriculum and international education standards (e.g., IB, IGCSE, or CBSE if applicable).
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including ESL students.
• Incorporate technology and interactive methods to enhance language learning.
• Organize and participate in cultural activities, language clubs, or events that promote Francophone culture.
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school administration regarding student progress and behavior.
• Participate in school-wide events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or diploma in education (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE).
• Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
• Fluency in French (native or near-native level); proficiency in English is essential.
• Familiarity with international curricula (IB, IGCSE, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire students and foster a lifelong love of languages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
