Freight broker (US LOGISTICS)

As a Freight Broker at our company, you will be an integral part of our expanding logistics team. With a minimum of 1 year of experience or as a Fresher, you will bring your expertise in freight brokerage to the table. Your responsibilities will include managing relationships with carriers and clients, ensuring smooth transportation of goods, fostering effective communication between shippers and carriers, and optimizing costs and delivery schedules. You will be working the NIGHT SHIFT from 05:30 PM to 02:30 AM, Monday to Friday, at our location in Mohali. Your key responsibilities will involve coordinating freight movement between shippers and carriers, building and maintaining a reliable carrier network, negotiating rates, managing customer interactions, resolving issues promptly, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation. Additionally, you will be expected to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, adjust strategies accordingly, and provide support in generating new business through client outreach and relationship building. Monitoring shipment statuses, providing updates to clients, tracking key performance metrics, and reporting on freight activity will also be part of your role. This is a full-time, permanent position with the opportunity for performance bonuses and yearly bonuses.
