Our client, a global leader in digital financial solutions, has partnered with Flexing It and is currently looking for a Java Developer to develop and maintain Java-based applications that meet business requirements while ensuring scalability and performance. As a Java Developer, your key responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing Java-based applications and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new features or enhancements. Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems will be a crucial part of your role. Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices is essential, along with participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software defects and issues, as well as integrating third-party APIs and services into existing applications. Additionally, you will contribute to architectural decisions and system design for various projects and work closely with QA teams to ensure the delivery of quality software. The ideal candidate should possess a strong proficiency in Java, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming. Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate is desired, along with familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture. Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and experience with database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB is crucial. An understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum is important, as well as experience with version control systems like Git. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is considered an advantage for this role.
