Job Description

As a member of our esteemed partner's team, you will be solely responsible for executing various activities in alignment with established processes. Your primary role will involve supporting the retail liabilities fraud monitoring framework of the bank by closely monitoring transaction patterns and identifying red flags based on specific fraud risk parameters. Additionally, you will lead the enhanced due diligence process for necessary cases, ensuring logical closure for outliers and suspicious transactions. Your responsibilities will include reviewing transaction patterns to verify their alignment with customer profiles and promptly flagging any suspicious transactions. It will be crucial for you to identify any violations of the prescribed KYC and other account opening policies. Moreover, you will be tasked with conducting reviews of Banks SMB (Sub-Member Banks) and monitoring transactions in compliance with regulatory guidelines. In this position, you will also be responsible for email management, addressing customer complaints, coordinating with branches and internal departments, and taking proactive measures against negative confirmations arising from suspicious transactions. You will validate alerts related to demographic changes of select customers and undertake necessary actions based on negative confirmations. Furthermore, your role will involve conducting comprehensive reviews of newly opened accounts (NTB) and existing Bank accounts (ETB) to assess fraud risks following the established process guidelines. You will play a critical role in detecting fraudulent KYC documents, identifying suspicious customer profiles, and reviewing transaction patterns to flag any accounts showing suspicious activities. Key internal interactions for this role will involve engaging through emails and calls on alerts and assigned tasks, collaborating with various levels of management and teams within the banks, and coordinating with external stakeholders and network partners for issue resolution, escalation, and data requirements. To be successful in this role, you should hold a graduate or post-graduate degree with expertise in any specialization. Essential competencies for this position include a solid understanding of banking policies and practices, particularly in retail liabilities, keen attention to detail, a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in MS Excel, and familiarity with analytical tools such as POWER BI or Tableau. Proficiency in English and Hindi languages is required, along with excellent written communication skills in English. Previous experience in CASA transaction monitoring, fraud analysis/detection, KYC compliance, AML, or risk containment units will be beneficial for this role.,
