Founding Engineer

Role Overview: As part of Uplers" client - Narrative, you will be responsible for building revolutionary AI agents for UI automation testing, generating test plans, automating browser/device testing, and adapting to evolving customer needs without coding. You will work closely with an experienced YC founder and gain exposure to fundraising, scaling, hiring, and achieving PMF while owning meaningful equity. The role involves working remotely from anywhere in India, following IST hours. Key Responsibilities: - Build a 0-to-1 product from scratch. - Develop APIs in Python & Django, create the frontend user experience using React, and utilize prompt engineering for AI applications. - Understand customer pain points deeply and contribute to the product vision proactively. Qualifications Required: - Must have experience with AI tools like Codium, Cursor, Prompt Engineering, react, Django, and Python. - Ability to ship high-quality products quickly and with ownership. - Experience in building and shipping AI agents actively used by customers. - Resilience to navigate uncertainties and setbacks in a startup environment. - Previous experience as a founding or early engineer at a startup, working on customer-facing products for at least 4+ years. - Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
