Founding EM (AI Product)

Role Overview: As the Founding Engineering Manager, you will be instrumental in constructing and expanding the backend infrastructure for our primary voice AI product. Your role will involve strategic decision-making on architecture, system design, infrastructure, and performance optimization. Additionally, you will lead and guide a growing engineering team to ensure their success. Key Responsibilities: - Own the technical roadmap and collaborate closely with the co-founders to align technology strategy with business objectives - Write clean and efficient code primarily in Go and Python while maintaining a hands-on approach - Coordinate with AI specialists, product managers, and customer success teams to deliver a seamless experience, especially for clients in the BFSI sector - Ensure security, uptime, and compliance to meet client expectations - Be proficient in languages like Go and Python, and have experience with AWS, Docker, Postgres, and Redis - Familiarity with AI technologies like LLMs, NLU/NLP APIs, as well as CI/CD, logging, and monitoring tools Qualifications Required: - 5-10 years of backend engineering experience with a proven track record of scaling systems - Passion for clean code, system design, and solving complex infrastructure challenges - Previous experience in leading or mentoring development teams - Prior experience in developing AI/LLM/NLP or voice-based products, fintech, BFSI, or startup environments would be a bonus Additional Company Details (if present): Joining us will provide you with competitive compensation, equity opportunities, high levels of ownership and autonomy, and the unique experience of being part of the founding team.
