Position: Cybersecurity Engineering Intern (Blockchain Project). Location: Hyderabad. Duration: 4 months. Department: Security / Blockchain R&D Role Overview We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineering Intern to support our blockchain project. You will work closely with our security and blockchain development teams to assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and help implement security best practices across smart contracts, blockchain nodes, and supporting infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Assist in threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing of blockchain systems and smart contracts. Monitor blockchain network activity and identify suspicious or malicious behaviours. Work with Hyperledger Fabric and other frameworks to understand and secure permissioned networks. Help implement security controls, encryption protocols, and identity management systems in blockchain environments. Participate in code reviews and security audits of smart contracts and backend code. Stay updated with emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the Web3 and blockchain ecosystem. Document findings and propose mitigations or patches for discovered issues. Support compliance and policy documentation (e.g., GDPR, data protection frameworks). Preferred Skills & Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field. Foundational understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. Exposure to Hyperledger Fabric or other permissioned blockchain platforms. Basic knowledge of cryptography, public key infrastructure (PKI), and secure communications. Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, or similar. Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Go, or JavaScript. Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and common security vulnerabilities in web and blockchain environments.
