Food Technologist (New Product Development)

As a Senior R&D Executive in our company, you will play a crucial role in leading our product innovation initiatives in the food and beverage industry. Your responsibilities will include driving R&D projects from ideation to commercialization, conducting market research, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing product formulations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, leading sensory analysis and product testing, managing supplier relationships, and preparing project progress reports. Key Responsibilities: - Drive end-to-end R&D projects from ideation to commercialization. - Conduct market research to identify trends and develop new product concepts. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and QA. - Optimize product formulations for taste, nutrition, and cost-effectiveness. - Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations, HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards. - Lead sensory analysis, product testing, and data-driven improvements. - Manage supplier relationships for raw material sourcing and quality assurance. - Prepare and present reports on project progress and outcomes. Qualifications: - M-Tech /B-Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in Nutraceuticals product development. - Strong project management skills with experience in Stage Gate processes. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Additionally, you will be expected to have expertise in the following areas: - New Product Development (NPD): Developing and launching high-quality nutraceutical products. - Advanced Formulation Science: Improving bioavailability, stability, and overall product effectiveness. - Regulatory Compliance Expertise: Strong knowledge of FSSAI, ICMR, and GMP regulations. - Technology Transfer and Manufacturing: Transitioning formulations from research to large-scale production. - Market Trend Analysis and Consumer Research: Ensuring product innovation aligns with evolving health trends. - Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinating with R&D, quality control, procurement, marketing, and production teams.
