Job Description

Ensure a collaborative team environment to deliver exceptional service and meet guest needs in dining areas. Oversee daily dining operations including staff grooming, area cleanliness, inventory management, guest interactions, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster teamwork among staff to ensure optimal service and guest satisfaction.
  • Inspect staff grooming and attire; address any deficiencies promptly.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing doors.
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, cleanliness, and proper inventory rotation (FIFO).
  • Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies to maintain stock levels.
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and comfort.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and coordinate repairs as needed.
  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
  • Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
  • Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance; protect company assets and maintain confidentiality.
  • Welcome guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships; support team efforts and respond to employee concerns appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards; identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.
  • Read and verify information in various formats, including small print.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
  • Perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and handling objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, stairs, and ramps.
  • Perform bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and other physical movements required for the role.
  • Complete other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • No license or certification required.
