As a restaurant server, your primary responsibilities will include serving food and drinks, taking orders, handling special requests, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be the face of the restaurant, greeting guests, anticipating their needs, and addressing any complaints in a professional manner. It is crucial to maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant, ensuring that all areas are clean and well-presented for guests. Additionally, you will assist with food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables and assembling sandwiches. Supporting the kitchen staff as needed and ensuring that orders are prepared accurately and timely is also part of your role. Managing cash transactions, including cash, charge, float, and till procedures, following agreed-upon protocols is essential. Setting up and clearing tables efficiently, as well as assisting with event preparations such as setting up marquees and arranging tables, are tasks that you will be involved in. Complying with all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff is a top priority. This position is full-time and permanent, suitable for freshers who are eager to learn and grow in the hospitality industry.
