Job Description

As a **Team Leader** at Marriott International, your main role will be to ensure that the staff works together cohesively to provide excellent service and meet guest needs. This involves checking and correcting the grooming and attire of the staff, overseeing opening and closing duties, such as setting up supplies and cleaning equipment, and ensuring the premises are secure. You will also be responsible for organizing storage areas, maintaining cleanliness, conducting inventories, stocking supplies, and placing requisitions. Your duties will include monitoring dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and overall well-being. You will also need to complete maintenance work orders, assist in various management tasks such as hiring, training, and motivating employees, and serve as a role model for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Adhering to company policies, reporting accidents, and undergoing safety training are crucial aspects of your role. Maintaining a professional appearance, respecting confidentiality, protecting company assets, and welcoming guests according to company standards are essential. Anticipating and addressing guest service needs, building positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals, and ensuring compliance with quality standards are key responsibilities.
