Job Description

As an experienced engineer in Basic and Detail Engineering from Thermal Power Plants, Combined Cycle, and Supercritical Power Plants, you are expected to have 5 to 10+ years of relevant experience. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Understanding the ITO inputs (Inquiry to Order) for Technical Proposals. - Extensive experience in P&ID preparation and review, including associated Device summary settings for Turbine and Generator Accessories Systems. - Handling Product Cost out activities based on project requirements. - Creation and Modification of P&ID and Device Summary (Instrumentation) in AVEVA DIAGRAM and AVEVA Engineering Tool, with AutoCAD knowledge being an added advantage. - Proficiency in Plant layout drawings such as General Arrangement Drawing, Technical Specification, Data Sheet & Technical Bid Evaluation, and Commissioning spare parts list. - Strong experience in Piping, Tubing, associated fittings, Valves, and Plant layout drawings (GA, Plot Plan). - Developing new Arrangement drawings & BOM in line with P&ID Schematics. - Preparation of Ordering Specification/Functional Specifications Modification Kit. - Preparing FMI (Field Modification Instruction manual). - Demonstrating ownership & decision-making in design, considering cost, feasibility in manufacturing, and fabrication. - Serving as the primary interface with customers, implementing design requirements, changes, analysis, and verification of each task. - Planning tasks, executing and delivering on time, cost-effectively, and with quality. - Excellent Coordination skills with all Cross-Functional Teams such as Customers (Tech Leads, Chief Engineers), Suppliers, Configuration Team, Electrical Team, etc. - Confidence with autonomy to deliver as work packages are critical. Qualifications Required: - BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, with Energy Engineering experience from Thermal/Aero/Simple/Combined Cycle Power Plant background.
