Job Description

Morning Preparation & Opening Duties

Ensure workshop cleanliness and readiness before opening.

Conduct morning briefing with service advisors, mechanics, and technicians.

Allocate vehicles and jobs to technicians as per their skill levels and workload.

Review pending jobs, carryovers, and parts availability.

Check tool condition and calibration (torque wrenches, lifts, etc.).

Job Supervision & Monitoring

Supervise all repair and service jobs on the workshop floor.

Ensure mechanics follow job cards, SOPs, and safety guidelines.

Monitor quality of work and ensure no rework cases.

Support mechanics in diagnosing complex issues and guide them technically.

Ensure timely job completion as per the delivery promise time.

Coordinate with the Service Advisor for status updates and approvals.

Quality & Process Control

Conduct in-process and final quality checks before vehicle delivery.

Ensure road test is done for jobs requiring performance verification.

Monitor adherence to TVS service standards and job card procedures.

Check for cleanliness and vehicle washing quality before handover.

Coordination & Communication

Liaise with the Parts Department for part availability and issue resolution.

Update Service Advisors on job progress and any delays.

Coordinate with the Warranty/CRM team for claim jobs.

Communicate any major issues or repeated complaints to the Service Manager.

Customer & Delivery Support

Assist Service Advisors during vehicle delivery for any technical explanations.

Handle escalated customer technical complaints if required.

Ensure vehicles are delivered on time and in proper condition.

End of Day Duties

Review completed and pending jobs; update job status.

Ensure workshop is clean and all tools are placed back properly.

Prepare daily performance reports (vehicles serviced, rework, pending jobs).

Share daily summary with the Service Manager.

Performance & Team Management

Guide, mentor, and train mechanics and trainees on technical improvements.

Monitor productivity, efficiency, and discipline of technicians.

Identify areas for process improvement and suggest to management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
