Fleet Manager, FTL

You will be joining Movemate Logistics as a Fleet Manager in Bengaluru, overseeing fleet operations, logistics, compliance with regulations, and ensuring optimal performance. Your role will involve managing day-to-day fleet operations, coordinating maintenance and repairs, ensuring safety and compliance with legal requirements, and controlling budget and costs effectively. You will be responsible for tracking and monitoring fleet activities using GPS and other software, managing vendor contracts for maintenance and services, overseeing driver recruitment and training, and preparing regular reports on fleet performance. Additionally, you will manage fuel procurement and usage, seek cost-effective solutions for maintaining and improving fleet performance, and contribute to fleet expansion by planning and acquiring new vehicles based on business needs. Your key responsibilities will include fleet operations management, maintenance and repairs coordination, safety and compliance assurance, budget and cost control, fleet tracking and monitoring, vendor management, driver management, reporting, fuel management, and fleet expansion planning. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring efficient fleet operations and compliance with regulations while optimizing performance and cost-effectiveness.,
