Role Overview

The Fixed Asset Executive will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of company assets, ensuring proper capitalization, depreciation accounting, asset tracking, physical verification, and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements across factories, warehouses, and offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain fixed asset register (FAR) in ERP and ensure timely capitalization of assets
  
• Track asset additions, disposals, transfers, and retirements
  
• Calculate and post monthly depreciation as per accounting standards
  
• Coordinate physical asset verification across manufacturing units, warehouses, and sales depots
  
• Monitor CWIP (Capital Work in Progress) and ensure timely project closure
  
• Ensure correct tagging / barcoding of assets
  
• Support internal and statutory audits related to fixed assets
  
• Reconcile FAR with General Ledger on monthly basis
  
• Verify supporting documents for procurement and capitalization compliance
  
• Assist in insurance-related data of assets and claims coordination
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Ind-AS / IFRS, and tax regulations
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter
  
• 25 years experience in Fixed Asset Accounting, preferably in FMCG / Manufacturing
  
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics)
  
• Strong understanding of depreciation, Ind-AS 16, and asset capitalization rules
  
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong Excel skills
  
• Ability to travel for physical verification when required
