Job Description

Fitting & Assembly:

Perform fitting, alignment, and assembly of mechanical components as per drawings.
Measure and mark material for drilling, cutting, and fitting.
Use hand tools and power tools for fabrication and adjustments.
Maintain accuracy in fitting tolerances.

Radial Drilling Machine Operation:

Operate radial drilling machine for drilling, tapping, reaming, and counterboring operations.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and job instructions.
Select correct drill bits and tools for the operation.
Set and clamp workpieces securely to ensure precision.
Monitor machine during operation and ensure proper drilling parameters.

Quality & Safety:

Check finished workpieces using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, height gauge).
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
Report any deviation or defect in workpieces immediately to the supervisor.
Handle tools and machines with care and perform routine maintenance.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain daily production log and job completion records.
Record any rework or downtime reasons.
Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives on the shop floor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,610.69 - ₹27,085.94 per month
