Department: Sponge Iron Unit

Job Overview: The Fitter (RMP) is responsible for fabricating, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and structural components—particularly around rolling mills or related plant equipment. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, welding, aligning machinery, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI (Fitter) or equivalent technical certification/diploma; vocational training preferred betterteam.com+9csi.energy+9in.trabajo.org+9
• Proven experience in mechanical fitting, welding, and mill equipment calibration—typically 2–5 years betterteam.com

Preferred Qualifications:

• Supervisory experience—handling small teams during breakdowns or regular maintenance csi.energy

Work Conditions & Schedule:

• Shift-based and rotational schedules, including nights and weekends if in continuous operation plants
• Physically demanding: lifting heavy components, crouching, bending, and working around high-temperature equipment
• Onsite role, with occasional travel to worksites, stores, or yard locations

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
