Fish Feed Plant Operator

Role Overview: As a Plant Operations Manager in our company, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and operate the 1TPH extrusion line for fish feed production. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth raw material handling and maintaining consistent product quality. Key Responsibilities: - Managing Equipment: You will be responsible for managing extruder modifications, integrating pre-conditioners, and conducting proactive maintenance to minimize downtime. Quick diagnosis and resolution of any mechanical or operational issues are vital tasks for you. - Quality Control & Process Optimization: Conducting quality checks such as moisture, density, and pellet size will be essential. You will lead the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Your expertise in raw material selection and formulations will be valuable. - Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining accurate production records, machine logs, and inventory is crucial. Ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and hygiene standards at all times is a key aspect of your role. - Team Coordination & Reporting: Leading and training plant staff, collaborating with management on performance insights, and recommending operational improvements are part of your responsibilities. Qualification Required: - 3-5 years of experience in extrusion-based fish feed or similar feed production. - Expertise in extrusion technology, feed formulations, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with FRK lines is a plus. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose root causes and implement effective solutions. - A Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Feed Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience. - Analytical and communication skills for data-driven decision-making and clear reporting. - A fast-paced, proactive maintenance mindset with leadership skills.
