Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operation & Handling

Operate HEMM equipment (excavators, dumpers, dozers, etc.) as per site requirements.
Perform pre-operation and post-operation checks.
Ensure optimal utilization of machines for productivity.

Maintenance & Upkeep

Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs.
Report major breakdowns to maintenance teams.
Ensure timely servicing and lubrication.

Safety Compliance

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety norms.
Use PPE and ensure safety of coworkers and equipment.
Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily logbooks of fuel consumption, working hours, and output.
Submit reports on equipment performance and downtime.
Assist in inventory of spare parts and consumables.

Teamwork & Coordination

Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers for deployment.
Train junior operators and helpers if required.
Support in achieving project timelines and productivity targets.

Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of mining/construction equipment operations.
Ability to troubleshoot common HEMM mechanical issues.
Strong focus on safety and compliance.
Basic understanding of hydraulics, engines, and control systems.
Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging site conditions.
