Firmware Linux SE/PE

As an Engineer at our company in Ahmedabad, you will be responsible for ensuring that the design meets the technical and quality requirements set for the team, especially in terms of functional and code coverage. Key Responsibilities: - Able to execute multiple projects simultaneously - Hands-on programming/coding, and debugging - Customer front-facing, communication, and value addition - Fit for onsite assignments - Continuous development of the team to serve customer requirements efficiently - Building and mentoring freshers/junior team members - Pre-sales support and proposal preparation - Open to working with various technologies - Project execution life cycle including requirement understanding, design, development, and bug fixing - Review and documentation of RS, design, test plan/test cases - Delivering projects on time and with quality - Conducting new candidate interviews and evaluations - Strong practical hands-on experience with C programming and debugging - Technical project track record with Linux user space application development - Linux kernel device driver development from scratch - Knowledge of at least one Linux kernel subsystem - Experience with Linux kernel version 3.0 and above - Hands-on experience with SoCs of Marvell, NXP, TI, Broadcom, Qualcomm, etc. - Understanding of various processor architectures like Cortex-A series, ARM series processors - Knowledge of build systems like Yocto, Buildroot, CMake, and Makefiles - Proficiency with Git version control system - Hands-on experience with debugging tools like gdb, valgrind, and static code analyzer tools - Experienced in customer interaction, with a preference for US and Europe markets - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Participate in feature and design discussions within and across teams Desired Skills: - Proficiency in OOPS programming languages like C++ - Experience in embedded GUI development using QT or similar tools - Ability to review hardware schematics and debug PCBs - Work experience in architecting embedded systems - Knowledge of using tools like logic analyzer and digital oscilloscope - Fluent and confident in English, both verbal and written,
