Purpose / Objective

Fire Safety operations and projects

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes related to

  Fire Safety, Fire Protection, Fire Prevention, and Emergency Response

  .
• Host, participate in, and assist with preparation for

  1st and 2nd party fire safety audits

  ; support audits at other sites as required.
• Provide leadership and guidance to ensure compliance with

  site, corporate, state, and federal safety regulations

  .
• Interact with regulatory agencies and maintain strong compliance standards.
• Collaborate with unit operations, site EHS functions, and leadership to administer programs and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Analyze systems to address operational issues, recommend solutions, and implement changes to mitigate future risks.
• Evaluate hazards against available fire protection systems and minimum protection requirements; recommend corrective actions for vulnerabilities.
• Actively participate in internal and external

  Fire Safety committees, industry groups, and professional societies

  .
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to shape internal policies and communicate effectively with management on fire protection matters.

Qualifications & Experience

• Masters degree or equivalent in

  Fire Safety / Fire Science / Fire Engineering

  .

• 5–10 years

  of experience in fire protection within large industrial environments.
• Strong technical and regulatory knowledge of fire safety, including applicable laws, standards, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment in a manufacturing environment (steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator).

• Emergency Response experience

  preferred (industrial setting).
