Hospitals face unique challenges, such as the need for systems that protect patients who cannot evacuate quickly and the integration of fire safety with other critical systems like nurse call systems. The supervisor oversees the maintenance and operation of fire alarm systems (e.g., smoke detectors, heat detectors, control panels) and fire fighting systems (e.g., sprinklers, fire extinguishers), ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to prevent and manage fire emergencies effectively.
