Job Description

Role: Java Developer

Location: Mumbai, Navi Mumbai

Job Purpose:

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Design, develop and implement web-based Java applications to support business

requirements

• Follow approved software life-cycle methodologies and perform program coding and unit

testing

• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation

Essential Skills

Java Technologies: Struts/Spring, Hibernate, Web services, REST Services, MQ, Servlets,
JSP, J2EE

Front end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, (jQuery/Bootstrap/Angular)

Database: Oracle / DB2

Application servers: Websphere / Weblogic / JBoss / Tomcat

Verbal and written communication skills required for effective teamwork
Software debugging skills.
Experience in working in an agile environment.
Knowledge of Internet banking products is valuable.
Finastra Trade Innovation and Fusion Corporate channel work experience is a great value add.
Knowledge of Internet banking products is valuable.

Monitoring and Understanding ticket / issues / cases raised with the product.
Analyze the errors and identify root cause and fix the issue.
Providing break fix / corrective and emergency support
Providing technical support to end users.
Conducting unit testing using automated unit test frameworks.
Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.
Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.
