Financial Systems Analyst I (Change Management)

As an Analyst within the Systems Change Office at American Express, you will be part of the Financial Reporting Quality Assurance Organization (FRQA) supporting the Regulatory Reporting Automation program. Your role will involve driving Change Management activities, such as defining, gathering, analyzing, and maintaining changes to Regulatory Requirements through the Finance Modernization Data Pipeline. You will lead program and change governance efforts for finance/regulatory reporting platforms. Your responsibilities will include supporting the ownership of the Change Management Policy for regulatory reporting automation, ensuring documentation, understanding, and defining the core framework for monitoring, reviewing, implementing, and validating applicable changes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive the Finance-Controllership Regulatory Reporting Automation system change management and Program Governance of Finance Modernization data requirements. - Ensure compliance of the Change Management framework for regulatory reporting automation. - Conduct thorough impact analysis and identify stakeholders involved in the Change Management process. - Coordinate with Product Owners, Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts, Solution Architecture colleagues, and Data Management team to ensure accurate execution of change. - Assist with internal/external audit by collecting relevant artifacts. **Qualifications Required:** - Degree in Finance/Accounting and/or Information Technologies. - Minimum 3 years of work experience in Change Management/Project Management. - Experience in Agile delivery concepts or other project management methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to create impactful relationships. - Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple assignments concurrently while meeting/exceeding critical deadlines. - Knowledgeable in development methodologies, using tools such as SQL.,
