BNC has been mandated to recruit a Statutory Audit Consultant for a contract role for a MNC company based at Gurgaon. The role involves hands-on execution and review of statutory audits, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Conducting audits of client accounts with relevant laws, regulations and auditing standards. Conducting substantive testing and documentation of audit procedures performed. Analyzing financial statements and records to identify any irregularities or discrepancies. Collaborating with senior audit team members to obtain necessary information and documentation for audit assignments. Assisting in preparing audit reports and recommendations for clients based on audit findings. Maintaining documentation of audit work performed, including working papers, reports, and other relevant documents. Keeping up-to-date with changes in auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends. Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in statutory audits. Prior experience working with a Big 4 or top-tier audit firm is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of auditing standards, laws, and regulations. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in MS Office applications. Attention to detail and accuracy in work. Role & responsibilities Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements along with business insights to enable the business to take the right decisions. Ensure accurate and timely reporting for all monthly, quarterly & annual reporting packs & presents business insight analysis to India business teams and APAC/US. Periodic review of transactional data impacting PNL/BS accounts and make sure right reporting and minimize any exceptional by flagging in time to all stakeholders. Co-ordinate and drive in budget/forecast process & generate detailed analysis with data point & exceptional reporting. Analyze, recommend and drive implementation of process improvements as appropriate, to simplify, standardize and streamline existing processes related to accounting, reporting and Audits to gain efficiency in finance vertical Deep dive analysis of Customer P&L & identify whether customers business generates cash inflow into company and right model was in place to generate cash & profitability. Drive Key customers P&L and see opportunities to expand the business etc. through periodic review process & serve the customers better. Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliation process and make sure IC agreement in place and strong liaising with cross regions stakeholders. Statutory Audit & Internal Audit: Prepare and ensure that all required financial schedules are prepared for Statutory audit and submitted in time. Robust P&L and Balance sheet review month on month & Year end Group audit and clarify any clarification from APAC/US
