Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with

    Ind AS

    , including disclosures specific to life insurance contracts.
  • Support

    monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

    , ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Supporting in implementation of Ind AS related systems and automation
  • Collaborate with actuarial, Investment, Operations and finance teams to validate reserves and other financial numbers.
  • Analyze financial data to ensure consistency with

    regulatory requirements (IRDAI)

    and internal accounting policies.
  • Assist in internal and statutory audits, including preparation of audit schedules and resolving audit queries.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of reporting and compliance.
  • Keep abreast of evolving

    Ind AS standards

    and their implications for the insurance sector.
  • Act as back up for IGAAP financial statemtents
