Financial Planning & Analysis- Associate

As a Ficial Planning & Analysis Associate within the Ficial Analysis team, you will be responsible for managing annual and continual ficial planning activities for product areas. You will provide business rationale and decisions for all month-end ficial performance and forecasting, conduct reviews and analysis on product ficial performance, and assist in budgeting, billing, and trend analysis. You will also focus on efficiency reporting, analytics, and strategy, create ficial business cases, and report on key metrics. Additionally, you will develop and track performance metrics, create presentations, and perform variance analysis to understand key promoters of results. Your role will involve designing new reports and dashboards, enhancing controls, and streamlining processes with automation where possible.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing annual and ongoing ficial planning activities for product areas, and providing business rationale and decisions for all month-end ficial performance and forecasting.
• Conducting reviews and analysis on product ficial performance, consumption and demand planning, budgeting, billing, trends, and exception reports.
• Reporting on efficiency, analytics, and strategy including, but not limited to, location strategy, span of control, and related reporting and analytics.
• Creating ficial business cases to support business initiatives.
• Monitoring and reporting on key metrics, driving data quality initiatives across the product area, and defining future needs of the product area.
• Developing and tracking performance metrics, preparing presentations, and providing ficial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.
• Performing variance analysis to understand key drivers of results and presenting commentary to senior managers, explaining changes from prior forecasts and budgets.
• Designing new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver ficial results to senior management.
• Enhancing controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Fice or a subject of a technical nature
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets
• Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
• Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management
• Proven track record for executing on special projects / assignments, often with little lead time or information
• Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines
• Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Fice, and FP&A Teams
• Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 3+ years of work experience, preferably in Ficial Services, and/or accounting/controller background
