Financial IT Compliance and Controls Specialist

You will play a crucial role in maintaining BT's robust financial control framework as part of the Digital Transformation. By implementing and monitoring Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) related to IT systems, you will ensure accuracy, reliability, and security of financial information. Collaborating with IT and finance teams, you will assess risks, design and implement IT controls, and prepare reports for senior management. Additionally, you will support BT Transformation projects by developing and implementing controls in line with standards and guidelines for the BT IT framework for ICOFR. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess and identify risks related to IT systems and financial reporting - Design and implement IT controls to mitigate identified risks, including Continuous Controls Monitoring and assurance controls - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls - Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - Prepare and present reports and Dashboards on IT control effectiveness to senior management - Support Senior Manager and key stakeholders in Risk and compliance teams - Support horizon scanning for new emerging risks and applications required for ICOFR controls - Design, develop, and maintain BT's 2LoD Policies, Standards, Guidelines **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in driving complex IT controls with business sponsors and IT technical delivery teams - Good knowledge of risk management and Enterprise Risk Management practices - Experience in ICOFR controls, compliance controls, and frameworks - Experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies - Core project and programme management skills If you are excited about this role and believe you can contribute to BT's transformation journey, we encourage you to apply, even if you do not meet every single requirement listed in the Job Description.
