Job Title: Finance Controller

About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with hands-on experience in General

Ledger accounting and controllership activities. The role involves end-to-end ownership of

accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes. The ideal

candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while driving process

improvements and maintaining strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the General Ledger (GL) process, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in line with accounting policies.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of open items.
• Support financial statement preparation, P&L analysis, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS) and internal policies.
• Coordinate with auditors (internal & statutory) during audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Assist in controllership activities including internal controls, process documentation, and SOX/ICFR compliance.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 34 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience in GL accounting, month-end close, and reconciliations.
• Exposure to controllership and compliance processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
