Job Title: Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed

    financial models

    , including forecasts, budgets, and sensitivity analyses for new business ventures, service lines, and capital projects.
  • Conduct

    feasibility studies

    for proposed healthcare initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, breakeven analysis, and ROI evaluation.
  • Perform

    valuation

    of projects and investment opportunities using DCF, comparable, and other standard methodologies.
  • Support

    business case development

    for new facilities, technology implementations, service expansions, or M&A opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and align financial projections with operational goals.
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and reports to communicate financial insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor key financial and operational KPIs to assess the performance of ongoing projects and recommend corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the

    annual budgeting

    and

    long-term planning

    processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus).
  • 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in the

    healthcare, hospital, or life sciences industry

    .
  • Strong proficiency in

    financial modeling

    and Excel, with solid knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
  • Experience conducting feasibility studies and valuations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare-specific cost structures, reimbursement models, and performance metrics is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FMVA, CPA, or similar.
  • Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Hyperion) or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of healthcare project finance, regulatory environment, or public-private partnership models.
