Financial Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• Financial Reporting

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and local tax laws (e.g., GST, TDS).

• Accounting Operations

• Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Process payroll, expense claims, and reimbursements.

• Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cost analysis.
• Monitor variances and provide recommendations.

• Compliance & Audit

• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and maintain internal controls.

• Intercompany Coordination

• Liaise with regional finance teams for reporting and alignment.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education

  :
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications (CA Inter, CPA, CMA) are a plus.

• Experience

  :
• 6 to 7 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in similar industry

• Technical Skills

  :
• Proficiency in accounting software (Deltek or other ERP systems).
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.

• Soft Skills

  :
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work with remote teams.
