Financial Accountant | 12months contract | CA Graduate only

Position Description:

• Experience: CA with 1-3 years/Inter-CA with 3-4 years of experience

Position Role Description

• Lead, oversee timely the month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations, including vendor intercompany and balance sheet accounts. Identify and resolve discrepancies on timely basis
• Prepare all financial statements for the company, including monthly, quarterly and year-end.
• Ensure internal controls are in place to provide assurance that the financial information is reliable and accurate.
• Maintain accounting systems, including general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, cash flow, fixed assets, and banking. Manage operational procedures and processes to improve efficiency and comply with audit standards.
• Liaise with statutory auditors for annual audits, ensuring smooth and timely completion.
• Coordinate with internal auditors, provide required documentation and implement corrective action
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and accurate data flow
• Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, timelines and compliance
• Conduct and support in reviews with Regional IMEA team for Financials
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, company policies and internal controls.
• Support preparation of financial disclosures in line with applicable accounting standards.

Job Specification:

• Degree in accounting or finance preferably CA with 1-3 years of experience or Inter- CA with 3-4 years of experience
• Strong technical knowledge and exposure to financial accounting, controlling, reconciliation, compliance
• Flexible and adaptable able to juggle multiple tasks and competing deadlines
