Job Description

As a solutions architect and model builder at Stripe, you will play a crucial role in shaping the backbone of the financial planning infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Working closely with the Finance & Strategy team to convert various business-planning use cases into modules in Anaplan, continuously improving system capabilities. - Leading design sessions to prototype new modeling solutions for enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow. - Owning ongoing system maintenance and recommending improvements to drive efficiencies across Finance & Strategy. - Playing a key role in designing the long-term Anaplan roadmap. Minimum Requirements: - 5+ years of experience with Anaplan, Cognos, Hyperion, Business Objects, TM1, or similar. - Strong analytical skills and a deep interest in problem-solving using technology to improve business processes. - Expert modeling capabilities with the ability to troubleshoot complex planning models and design modeling solutions independently. - Subject matter expertise in financial management systems, including an understanding of accounting principles as they apply to planning and consolidation solutions. - Strong understanding of integration best practices. - Excellent relationship skills to effectively collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and development teams. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Experience with SQL or a willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in a high-growth, rapidly scaling environment. - Experience collaborating closely with various Finance functions. Please note the in-office expectations: - Office-assigned Stripes in most locations are expected to spend at least 50% of the time in their local office or with users. - In-office expectations may vary by role, team, and location. For example, some roles in Bucharest, Romania have an 80% in-office expectation, while roles in Mexico City, Mexico, and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. - Some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements to support users and workflows effectively, with flexibility when possible.,
