Finance Officer

As a Finance Assistant at our company, your main role will involve supporting the financial operations and decision-making processes. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and budget monitoring. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in P&L Preparation and Budget Monitoring: - Support the preparation of Profit & Loss statements and help track departmental budgets in collaboration with relevant teams. - Conducting Basic Financial Analysis: - Perform ratio calculations, interpret financial data, and share findings with senior finance staff and concerned department heads for review. - Maintaining Contribution Sheets: - Under supervision, maintain contribution sheets to track financial performance across departments or projects. - Providing Dashboard Support: - Assist in creating and updating dashboards using tools like Advanced Excel or Power BI for financial reporting and performance monitoring. - Departmental Data Collection & Analysis: - Gather and analyze financial and operational data from different departments to support reporting and insights generation. In addition to the key responsibilities, it is essential to have the following qualifications and competencies: Qualification Required: - Master's degree preferred Key Competencies: - Working knowledge of Advanced Excel and Power BI - Basic understanding of Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements - Willingness to learn financial reporting, budgeting, and control processes Behavioral Skills Required: - Analytical Mindset: Academically strong, especially in math and logical reasoning - Team Player: Works well with others and follows guidance - Organized: Methodical and detail-oriented in approach - Patient & Focused: Maintains consistency and accuracy - Problem Solver: Eager to learn and contribute to resolving financial challenges Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including Provident Fund, a day shift schedule, yearly bonus, and the work location is in person.
