Finance Manager

Roles & responsibilities:

• Prepare short- and long-term financial plans aligned with business goals.
• Develop and manage annual budgets
• Monitor spending to ensure alignment with financial plans.
• Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Produce timely and accurate financial statements (e.g., P&L, balance sheet).
• Analyze financial data to support strategic decisions.
• Report financial performance to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure the company has sufficient liquidity to meet obligations.
• Oversee cash inflows/outflows and working capital.
• Optimize treasury functions and banking relationships.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and risks.
• Manage capital structure and funding sources (e.g., debt, equity).
• Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
• Implement internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.
• Support business planning with financial insights.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategy.
• Lead and mentor finance team members.
• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and major expenditures.
