Finance & Investor Relations Intern

As a Finance & Investor Relations Intern at KwikMedi, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the founding team in areas such as financial planning, reporting, and investor communication. This role is tailored for individuals with a keen interest in startups, finance, and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development of financial models, budgets, and projections, as well as contributing to the creation of pitch decks, investor reports, and presentations. You will be tasked with managing investor communication and ensuring an up-to-date investor database. Additionally, you will prepare monthly/quarterly financial summaries and performance dashboards, conduct market research and competitor analysis to provide valuable fundraising insights, and offer support to the founding team in fundraising activities such as due diligence, follow-ups, and documentation. Collaboration with the finance & accounts team will be essential to maintain data accuracy and compliance. To excel in this role, you should either be pursuing or have completed an MBA in Finance, CA Inter, CFA (L1/L2), or a similar qualification. A solid understanding of financial modeling, accounting principles, and valuation methods is necessary, along with proficiency in analytical thinking, research skills, and MS Excel/Google Sheets. Strong written and verbal communication abilities are crucial, as well as a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work in a dynamic startup environment. Prior exposure to investor relations, fundraising, or startup finance would be advantageous.
