Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our finance team in daily operations and financial record-keeping. This internship offers hands-on experience in core finance functions, including accounting, reconciliation, and vendor management. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, possesses strong analytical skills, and works effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in recording and managing revenue and expenses accurately.
• Prepare and post journal entries under supervision.
• Conduct debtor and creditor reconciliations to ensure accurate account balances.
• Maintain petty cash statements and monitor petty cash transactions.
• Support preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Assist with treasury documentation and banking operations, including outward remittances.
• Help in the preparation of Purchase Orders (POs) and invoices.
• Support vendor payment processing and follow-ups.

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP or similar accounting software.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.

Soft Skills:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional email correspondence and documentation etiquette.
• Ability to collaborate well within a team and maintain a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
