Finance Intern

You are a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern being sought after to join the team at DigiMantra in Mohali. This opportunity is ideal for recent B.Com graduates or final-year students who are looking to gain hands-on experience in core finance functions, accounting, and compliance. Working closely with the finance team, you will play a key role in daily operations, reporting, and data analysis. Your responsibilities will include assisting in maintaining financial records, reports, and ledgers, preparing financial reports and statements, reconciling bank statements, and supporting audits. Additionally, you will be involved in budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, performing data entry, and maintaining internal documentation. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar programs will be required. The ideal candidate for this role will have completed or be in the final year of their B.Com degree, possess a basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, and be proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets. Familiarity with accounting software is a bonus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and interpersonal abilities, as well as a proactive attitude towards learning and taking initiative, are highly valued qualities for this position.
