Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Delivery of Business Partner inputs to support the overall accuracy and compliance of the monthly Reporting and processes (e.g. MBR pack, Mid-Month estimates)
  • Supporting the business planning cycles for the manufacturing plant and supply chain planning,
  • Detailed Cost Per Unit analysis, partnering with manufacturing and supply to drive cost reductions and strategic planning.
  • Forecasting and Budget submissions for commercial, manufacturing, supply and business functions 9.1.1.4, 9.3.4
  • Assists line management with fixed costs monitoring and control including standard reports & analysis. Measure cost drivers and determine critical activities 9.1.1.5, 9.1.3
  • Support headcount and labor efficiency reporting, and site metric analysis
  • Inventory analysis and partnering with Supply Chain to drive business initiatives to reduce inventory across the network.
  • Ensuring that Capital requests are supported by financial models and commercial business cases in accordance with Group standards
  • Challenging the Business Team on the assumptions used in their capital expenditure proposals and holding them to account for delivery of such assumptions.
  • Providing financial advice to projects, BI pipeline and delivery of evaluated opportunities (e.g.: Business Improvement Initiatives).
  • Providing support to the Business in managing working capital and cash management
  • Action deviations from acceptable levels of performance and address any areas of concern promptly, ensuring that relevant team members are held accountable. 9.1.3
  • Actively provide detailed financial knowledge and advice to the Business including education and use of Oricas financial systems.
  • Challenge business assumptions, develop alternative scenarios, and educate business partners on financial issues and concepts will be a necessity
  • Evaluation and management of financial performance for the business unit 9.1.4
  • Compliance with Group Standards
  • Facilitate enterprise risk management activities and drive resolution of open and overdue audit findings
  • Attendance at Site SH&E Meetings and compliance with SHE Charter

  • Region role for Asia Manufacturing (3-4 Manufacturing sites)

Critical Experience and Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business discipline
  • Professional designation CA, CMA, or CPA
  • Experience in a large, global business
  • The role requires collaboration and communication skills having frequent interaction with

finance and business leaders.

  • Lean CI Improvement Experience
  • Experience in SAP, SAP Hana
  • People leadership experience
  • Experience working in manufacturing or transportation envrionment
  • 5-10 years post graduate experience in accounting or finance (or related discipline)
  • Excellent knowledge of related standards
