Film Director

As a Film Director in the Production department, you will be responsible for interpreting scripts, briefs, and concepts to craft engaging visual narratives. Your role will involve collaborating with creative teams, copywriters, designers, and clients to develop strong visual stories. You will lead pre-production activities such as casting, location scouting, and shot planning. During the production process, you will guide actors, cinematographers, and crew members to ensure the successful execution of shoots. Additionally, you will oversee post-production tasks like editing, color grading, and sound design to maintain alignment with the creative vision. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the visual quality, pacing, and tone of each film align with the brand strategy. Effective management of production budgets and timelines will also be crucial, along with staying updated on industry trends and innovative filmmaking techniques. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a director in various film genres such as advertising, corporate, short films, product films, service films, cause-related films, etc. A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating storytelling skills, aesthetics, and versatility is essential. Your leadership, communication, and team collaboration abilities should be excellent, and you must showcase the capacity to think creatively under pressure and address on-set challenges. Proficiency in camera work, lighting, editing, and sound is required, along with familiarity with production tools, storyboarding software, and editing platforms. A keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of branding and audience engagement are also key attributes. Previous experience in an agency environment or working with brands is preferred for this role. Preferred qualifications for the Film Director position include a degree or diploma in film, media, communication, or a related field. Experience working with advertising agencies or production houses would be advantageous. Multilingual capabilities, specifically in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, are considered beneficial for effective communication in this role.,
