Job Description

You will be joining our team at Medekom Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a DSS Group Company, as a Field Service Engineer based in Delhi. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical support of advanced medical devices, such as high-resolution medical monitors, surgical systems, therapy solutions, and hospital care & mobility products. This position provides you with the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge healthcare technologies and collaborate with healthcare institutions to ensure seamless equipment performance and client satisfaction. Your primary role will involve ensuring the smooth installation, calibration, servicing, and functioning of Medekom's advanced medical equipment portfolio at customer sites. You will be responsible for prompt troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and overall customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include the installation, calibration, validation, and commissioning of high-end medical devices. You will also be required to conduct on-site and remote troubleshooting and repair of equipment to minimize downtime, as well as perform regular preventive maintenance according to the assigned service calendar. Additionally, you will provide technical training to hospital and lab staff on device usage and associated software, maintain accurate service records, reports, and spare part inventories, and support the documentation process for service-related tenders and internal coordination. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including sales and logistics during pre- and post-installation stages is also part of the job. The desired skills for this role include hands-on experience in servicing advanced medical devices, particularly in diagnostics, surgical, or monitoring systems. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a technical mindset, excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing scenarios, self-motivation, and the ability to manage independent fieldwork are also essential. Travel across assigned locations in North India may be required. Qualifications for this position include a B.Tech / M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics, or equivalent fields. Candidates with a BSc/MSc in Biosciences or Life Sciences will also be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the Medical Device Industry (Service).,
