Field Service Engineer

Job Description

Key Skills: Troubleshooting, Field service Engineer Roles and Responsibilities: Collaborating with customers to provide technical and administrative support activities including repair, preventative maintenance, and upgrades on Surgical and Digital Smart Suite equipment within a geographical region. Provide the highest level of service, customer experience, and achieve financial objectives. Provide timely technical services on Surgical and Digital equipment as required including phone support, remote and onsite corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, installation, and other service-related duties. Lead the planning and installation activities of connected products by coordinating with the customer, IT, and commercial teams to ensure successful installation. Provide timely and accurate documentation on services performed. Strategically promote, educate, and market services to customers. Communicate equipment problems, quality issues, and customer concerns to the appropriate in-house personnel within the established guidelines. Manage expenses and perform duties within budgetary guidelines. Accurately handle company assets (Company vehicle, test equipment, computer, etc.). Experience Requirments: Proven experience in field service or technical support roles, particularly with medical devices or similar equipment. Strong understanding of Surgical and Digital Smart Suite equipment is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience in performing maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting of technical equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and internal teams. Ability to plan and execute technical installations and service activities efficiently. Excellent documentation and reporting skills to provide accurate and timely updates. Experience in managing expenses and adhering to budgetary guidelines. Valid driving license and ability to manage company assets, including vehicles and equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and guidelines. Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech.
