Electrical QA/QC Engineer

BE/B.Tech 10+ years or Diploma 12+ years

Cement Plant/Power Plant/Steel Plant/Refinery - core industry experience mandatory

JD of Electrical QA/QC

To take care of routine Project QA activities like Planning & scheduling of material Inspections, coordination with Vendors, document control , Inspection Reports review, witnessing inspections of electrical equipment, Implementation & conformance to quality manual, Standards, technical specifications, drawings, & relevant Codes.

Compliance to quality manuals including Contract Technical Specifications.

Prepare Daily/weekly/monthly QA report & submission.

1. Thorough study of project drawings, BOQ, & Contract Specifications

2.  Inspection planning as per project and RFI schedule.

3.  Review of IR, observations & compliance of site project activities.

4. Prepare Daily/weekly/monthly QA report & submission.

5.  Document management system.

6.  Vendor/Contractor Invoice verification with regards to quality compliances.

7.  Regular feedback to Project Quality Manager regarding QC progress reports, inspection & test status, quality issues & NC status.

8.  Submission of MIS reports to Project Quality Manager.

9. Preparation/compilation & verification of all project QC Records & submittals as per contract quality compliance requirements.

10. Stakeholder coordination, both internal & external.

Secondary Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with FQA team & PQM regularly for resolving day-to-day for QC related issues.
2. Follow-up with Contractor, Construction Manager, & Project Manager for closure of NCs and compliance of construction quality during execution of work.
3. Attend meeting with Project Contractor, Vendors & internal meetings to communicate quality requirements & highlight quality issues.
