Job Description

Job Title : Coffee Estate Field Officer Location : Vedanayagam Hospital (Interview Location) Work Location : Valparai Contact : 8825809203 Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate field activities including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and harvesting. Monitor crop health and recommend pest and disease control measures. Assist in soil management and fertility improvement initiatives. Collect and maintain field data (yields, inputs used, labor deployed, etc.). Train and guide field workers and laborers on good agricultural practices (GAP). Ensure compliance with safety, sustainability, and quality standards (e.g., Rainforest Alliance, UTZ, Organic). Coordinate with agronomists and estate managers on planning and implementation of agricultural strategies. Monitor and report on weather conditions, irrigation needs, and other environmental factors. Maintain farm equipment and inventory of agro-inputs. Ensure efficient use of resources and reduce operational wastage. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
